Cooper Goes Exploring... Prelibato

Super delish, highly exciting and new to Beaconsfield is a fantastic Italian deli - Prelibato. And they are our first wholesale cafe customer!

Upon arrival you will have the warmest welcome form this Italian family run deli. The decor is rustic, warm and homely, there are about 20 seats to have breakfast, lunch and dinner - dinner is served Thursday, Friday and Saturday (opening times in footnote). The deli counter and coffee are served at the rear of the shop.

We are thrilled to be able to help this wonderful local venture. We have worked together to create a rich, cocoa caramel coffee with a zesty finish, more to their Italian style without being a ‘classic’ Italian coffee. To achieve this specially roasted blend we have used two thirds Brazil and one third Columbia, roasted a little darker than our typical Coopers style without any quality and brightness we expect from the high quality coffee we source.

We have been working on coffee training and this will be ongoing while they find their feet. We are very pleased they have paid attention to all details including coffee for an outstanding experience. It is so important to us to try and improve the offering of coffee that is available to poplin general. Not just for the experience but for the bigger picture of the coffee industry and sustainability. So much of what Prelibato have and serve here has a story so it is absolutely in line with our ethos of Coopers.

The food is superb. I had a delish Salame finocchino, tomato, tuscanic pecorino, rocket & truffle oil panino (£7.80). The meats in the deli counter are of great quality and carefully sourced. The cakes are hugely tempting and some tasty looking cannoli and other treats look heavenly. I can’t wait to come back and try dinner, am going to book in soon! Booking is advisable for an evening table with only room for 20 it is regularly filling up. The wines on offer also look thoughtfully chosen along with a couple of different Bierre Moretti to choose from.

You will not be disappointed with the produce, atmosphere and top service you get in the gem of a venue.
